I know it seems like a pretty wide range, but literally it’s all me. They are intertwined together and form who I am. So besides the list, here is more information about myself, the blogger.

My name is Kate Easton, I’m married to my adorable, hard-working, and dedicated husband Brent. We are high school sweethearts, and have been through a lot together throughout our many, many years of dating. By the time we got married we had been together for 9 years!! We now have two absolute perfect (I know everyone says that) daughters, Lorelai Grace and Avery Rose. They are 12 months and 3 weeks apart, we just missed the Irish twin mark, currently both under the age of 2.  I am a stay-at-home mom, and they keep me busy.  Let’s just say the goal in our house is to thrive on the chaos.  The girls are currently into everything FROZEN, reading books, playing pretend kitchen, and being outside.

I graduated in 2016 with a double degree in marketing and e-commerce, from the University of Toledo.  After graduation I ended up moving to Lansing, MI. with Brent, my then fiancé, to work for BIGGBY COFFEE’s Home Office as part of their marketing team.  There I was able to fall even more in love with coffee, I even became a trained barista!  In Lansing, my husband and I bought and flipped a 1920’s home. It was such an amazing learning experience and really started my love for DIY home projects. Total we only lived in Lansing for 2.5 years, and we knew we were ready to move back home to Toledo.  We had had Lorelai and we missed our family, friends, and the environment we called home.  So we sold our flipped house for double the price we bought it, and moved back home with my parents until we found our new dream home.

Fast forward 1.5 years to today… a lot has changed again, I told you trying to thrive on the chaos. Like I said earlier a stay-at-home mom to my 2 daughters, a new house that we need to slowly renovate again to our style, and my husbands new job venture that keeps him away 5 out of 7 days a week.  All of which leads me to typing this post…  I needed something more for myself, a new mom.  Something that was for me to get everything in my head out so I can visually see it. This blog is to take my overrun mind and organize it  on a platform that may help others to be inspired, to feel proud of their accomplishments no matter how big or small, and to be encouraged to try new things. We can all get stuck in a rut in our lives, and I want to help myself and hopefully all of you to get out of the rut and have some fun again. So that maybe one day we all can be thriving on the chaos in our lives.
